Over-The-Water Restaurant Chic Royalton Antigua
Blue Diamond Resorts, following its successful foray into the Antigua and Barbuda market, is now expanding its operations on the island with the acquisition of the historic Rex Hotel in Halcyon Cove. To revitalize the property and establish its new identity as the Royalton Chic Hotel, a comprehensive renovation project is underway. As part of this transformation plan, special attention is being paid to one of the hotel’s iconic features, the overwater restaurant, formerly known as the Wari Peer restaurant.
To execute the revitalization of this remarkable overwater feature, Crystal Marine was retained to oversee the turnkey capital renovation of the restaurant’s structure and walkways. The scope of work includes strengthening all structures by replacing or repairing piles, beams, columns, steel tie plates, bolts and rods. In addition, the project includes the restoration and replacement of wood floors and rails, as well as the installation of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
