Crystal Marine – Boskalis has an in-house engineering company that provides expertise in harbor and inland waterway engineering and project development. The company’s experts specialize in hydraulics, morphology, hydrology, coastal and river engineering, port construction, environmental engineering and offshore technology.
With about 40 engineers, Crystal Marine - Boskalis experts conduct research and project development studies, design projects and provide support for project implementation and training programs in the following disciplines:
Port and waterway engineering:
It uses mathematical models and computer simulations of maneuvers to identify critical points and provide solutions.
Coastal protection works:
He has developed a series of tools for the prediction of shoreline behavior and the design of coastal protection schemes.
Morphology and hydrology:
Although not all natural water flows need to be controlled, better utilization for the benefit of nature and man is often possible.
Offshore technology:
