Cabarete beach recovery and rehabilitation
As part of the real estate boom of the 2006 period, the Dominican government decided that it wanted to relaunch 3 of what used to be very popular tourist destinations such as Cabarete, which had suffered a major depression due to several factors, including beach erosion.
The Dominican Republic contracted Boskalis to regenerate and rehabilitate the Cabarete beach, which is an iconic destination for beach sports as it is part of the World Kite Surfing Tour.
